Rivalries Withstanded

The Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry can be traced back until the founders time between Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor. The two disagreed on many things, but both being powerful wizards did more screaming than anything. Both knew the terrible consquences of starting a duel with each other. This was the beginning of the rivalry that would feul forever more in Hogwarts history. At different times in history, the rivalry had been stronger than usual.
The first time that happened was back in the 1970s when the Marauders were in school. The Marauders? James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew made up one of the most memorable groups to grace Hogwarts with their presence. The four were mischeif makers and inseperable. The Slytherins, mainly a Severus Snape, hated them with a passion for all of their creul jokes that were pranked on them. Snape, known as Snivelly or Snivellus to the Marauders, took the blunt of the horrid pranks. Some of which went to far and became hazardous, and in one case possibly lethal. Once the Marauders graduated, however, the rivalry went into a lull though still quite existing.
This rivalry once again struck on in full force when the Golden Trio and Draco Malfoy were in school. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, who almost became friends, became arch rivals in studies, Quidditch, anything really. Harry, backed by Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, took on Voldemort and this Slytherin boy at least once a year until 6th when the Trio dropped out to find and destroy Horcruxes. However, in what would have been their 7th year they made a reappearance where Harry finally defeated Lord Voldemort in the Final Battle. This rivalry, the battles between it, went down in history just as the Marauders did.
The strong rivalry once again flared when Harry Potter's son, a Mister James Sirius Potter, went to school and befriended four other boys to form the Crimson Lions. This group mimiced the Marauders, pranking each and every Slytherin until they would burst. The Crimson Lions had their main target in the Slytherins, but they also would prank Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, teachers, and even fellow Gryffindors. The five would do anything for a good laugh, no matter what the punishments. They didn't have any world-saving battles such as the Golden Trio but they certainly amused Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the seven years they boasted in the halls.
And now in 2046, the rivalry between Gryffindors and Slytherins has once again flared, perhaps to the highest yet. Enter the Flying Phoenixes from Gryffindor and the Emerald Serpants from Slytherins. Both groups members all in their seventh and final year at Hogwarts. The Flying Phoenixes boast Tristian Potter, Evan Kinter, William Robinson, and Kyle Mogel as their members while the Emerald Serpants boast Cepheus and Merope Malfoy, Elisabeth Sullivan, Christopher Brazzel, and Rafael Bennett. The Emerald Serpants have the numbers, but that hardly means they have the skill or brains to match up to the Flying Phoenixes. The two groups have been arch rivals since first year when they both formed. Since 5th year, this rivalry has exploded. Why you may ask? The Emerald Serpants picked up Dark Magic and orders from their master, Yvette Lestrange. Already the group has taken on the Dark Mark at the youngest age before and are acting in Hogwarts as spies and recruiting. The Flying Phoenixes know something is up, but hardly what. This Gryffindor group will get down to the bottom of this mystery and stop it or die trying.
