august seventeenth Tristian stood at the gate of the Quidditch stadium. It was the first match of the Raptor's season, which was Trist's favorite team. They were playing Puddlemere United and expected to win by a small margin. Both were good teams that got first and second last season respectively.
He looked around expectantly. The game was to start in a mere ten minutes and Elise still hadn't shown up. It was the two's first date after officially getting together August 8th at Florean's. Tristian had desperately wanted to tell his best mates, but he refrained. Kyle couldn't know of their relationship, not yet anyways. As far as the Flying Phoenixes knew, Tristian was single. As far as Evan and William knew, he was still pining after Elise. Trist pushed back his hair nervously, afraid he was being stood up.
He had their tickets in his hands, best seats in the house. For his birthday, Tristian received from his granda seasonal box tickets for the next two years. He and Elise would be sitting with the owners of the teams and their scouts. Tristian had already met the scouts earlier this summer, scheduling on which match they would come to watch him.

Elise was actually coming early by her standards. Everything always came into her mind last minute as to what to do. She had left an extra 30 minutes for herself, but obviously it didn't work out as planned. She had had to sneak out on her broom in order to come, she didn't need the Royal Kyle Escort, or anyone else.
Her hair was plenty tossed after being combed not much earlier. However, she didn't really worry about it much. She believed in the whole 'they-liked-you-before-anyways' thing. And Tristian would just be happy they were seeing a Quidditch match.
In truth, Elise always had a little voice in the back of her mind that was liking Tristian, she just had a knack for silencing that voice. Of course, the recent events only made it louder, which only made the butterflies come on que. It would be a rough while, now that the pot of emotions had been stirred.
Seeing Tristian looking very nervous and worried made Elise pick up the pace, running over. She waved, and greeted him. "Hey! Let's get going, shall we?"

Tristian looked down at his black breeches and green shirt, hoping he'd look good enough for Elise. The Galleons he had tucked inside his pocket jingled loudly as he swayed back in forth in the harsh winds. It would make the Chasers jobs harder for sure. "Hey! Let's get going, shall we?"
Tristian turned around abruptly. He'd recognize that voice anywhere and his eyes met his love. Shanks smiled widely and walked over to her, handing her the ticket. "Let's," Tristian replied, wrapping his arm around her shoulders lovingly. He led her through security, giving the man the tickets.
"THE QUIDDITCH MATCH BETWEEN THE HOME TEAM, THE RAPTORS," the announcer boomed with a spell. He paused, letting the crowd go wild, before continuing. "AND PUDDLEMERE UNITED WILL BEGIN IN TWO MINUTES!" When he mentioned the other team, booing overcame the stadium. Raptors fans seemed to be quite... extreme to say the least.
"We better hurry up. We have box seats. Let's see if we can get the lift, most people will already be seated," Tristian decided. The two walked over to the lifts and got on. "Boxes," he said and the spell recognized its command and began flying up higher and higher until reaching its destination. "After you, my lady," Tristian said dramatically, bowing.

Elise's smile broadened at the sight of Tristian's. She let him drape his arm over her shoulder, although it felt a bit much like Kyle's overbearing presence. Of course, this was different. She just enjoyed it.
"Hey, how much you wanna bet that the Raptors will loose?" She smirked, knowing he was for the Raptors. Of course, he also knew she was a seer, and could have seen something about the match. Which she didn't, or else she would have a lot more bets going around. The Raptors were the better team, but it was still close.
Box seats... yessss... Elise always thought the boxes were amazing. "And how did you get such nice seats?"She said turning to him. "I can't imagine anyone would just be throwing them around. Y'know what, don't tell me. I'll just believe you conjured them from nowhere." She smiled.
After Tristian did his dramatic bow, she pretended she had a fan in her hand and fluttered it with her eyelashes. "Oh, thank you kind sir." She then dropped it, smiling all the while, and stepped in. Immediately she laughed in joy at the sight of the field. It was just beginning, the pre-show of it starting. Looking like a little kid, she was mesmerized by it.

"Hey, how much you wanna bet that the Raptors will loose?" Elise asked with a smirk. But Tristian saw through her guile, as he knew the signs of her Seeing something in the future.
He smiled and shook his head, "Now, now. It's not nice to pull tricks on your boyfriend! And I know you didn't see anything. You didn't have the mystic voice thing come over as you told a riddle or a blank stare. And the Raptors are better this season than last, and Puddlemere had to replace their Keeper. In such, I'm fairly confident we'll win so I'll bet on it if you insist. You can't con me, Miss Mogel. I know your tricks."
"And how did you get such nice seats? I can't imagine anyone would just be throwing them around." Elise asked, turning towards Tristian.
"On my bi-" he started but was cut off. " Y'know what, don't tell me. I'll just believe you conjured them from nowhere," she said suddenly.
After Tristian had bowed her out of the lift, Elise pretended as if she was one of the ladies of court back in the old ages. "Oh thank you kind sir," she said, fluttering her eyelashes as she walked into the box.
Tristy smiled and walked behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "It was my pleasure, good lady," he whispered into her ear. She was laughing in joy from the sight beheld before them. The pre-show was starting and Tristian could tell she was mesmerized.

Ah darn, didn't fall for it. She just shrugged. "Yeah, but it's not like when I see something it's always like that. It could even just be a hunch sometimes..." She said, with a small bit of disappointment. Of course, that wasn't enough to get her down, not here, not now.
Of course, Tristian's logic made a lot more sense. "You never know!" she proclaimed. Everything was at rest now, even the butterflies asleeping. It was the moment of calm, of just bliss. Still, there was all the anticipation for the match, for anything to come.
"Oh no, the pleasure was all mine, my fine gentleman." She whispered, as she floated on cloud nine.

"Yeah, but it's not like when I see something it's always like that. I could even just be a hunch sometimes..." Elise said, somewhat dejected, but that seemed to disappear quickly.
"Yeah, yeah," Tristian said smiling. He kissed her cheek. "You never know!" she proclaimed after listening to his logic. Of course he knew everything about the Raptors and their opponents.
"No, I don't. But, without me bein' a Seer and all, I can almost guarantee this will be a close match with the Raptors winning. Puddlemere's new Keeper is a rookie and this is his first match, nerves will get to 'em. And from what I heard, he wasn't that good to start with," he said idly.
"Oh no, the pleasure was all mine, my fine gentleman," Elise whispered dreamily. It seemed to Tristian as if this was her first Quidditch match outside of Hogwarts, but dared not to ask in case it offended her.
"If you insist, my ladylove." Tristian drew his wand and pointed it at the two seats to be theirs, transfiguring them into a comfortable dark green love seat in support for the Raptors. He stood beside her and entwined his fingers with hers, leading her to the couch. Tristian sat down and pulled Elise down as well, so she "accidently" landed on top of him. Tristian grinned and kissed her lightly, her head on his thighs staring up at him.
"AND WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, THE MATCH SHALL BEGIN!" the announcers voice said. He was actually sitting a couple seats away from them, so they heard his normal voice instead of the enhanced version.
Meanwhile, the teams were set up in the traditional starting position. Each team was in a semi-circle facing their opponents with the refferee in the middle with the balls. Tristian could imagine her going over the rules, about how there was supposed to be a clean game. The ref bent down and let out the bludgers, which zoomed hazardously close to several of the players, before erratically roaming the pitch. She then released the Golden Snitch. Tristian ached to have his broom and fly after it, however he was just a spectator for this match.

"Maybe he was just... keeping in his talent." She said with an affirming nod. Of course, it didn't matter. "But just so you know, I HAVE been getting a head start in Divination. You better watch out if I'm your partner in class, since I'mma make you look like a fool." She smirked. She knew he probably knew that anyways, you can't outdo a seer without a lot of practice and intuition.
When Tristian changed the rather uncomfortable looking chairs to a couch, she was quite pleased. The other seats would make her squirm and she'd probably just break it. The landing was a bit unexpected, but she smiled at Tristian above her. She sat back up, getting into a position easier to see from. Yet, she couldn't ignore him entirely of course. She leaned into him and took off her shoes in order to perch up on the seat, using his shoulder as a pillow.
When the referee began the match, she could feel the anticipation rising as the players flew on their broomsticks. The seeker was flitting his head about as fast as the snitch, trying to see the golden glint. She could imagine Tristian doing the same, and her narration of every move... Potter is darting to find the seeker before Slytherin, in order to win the match, as the chasers and beaters fight off the tempest of obsticles.

"Maybe he was just... keeping in his talent," Elise pondered, nodding in agreement with herself.
"Why in the bloody hell would he risk doing that? Puddlemere could find a replacement for him, which I've heard they're thinking about doing," Tristian said. "Ah well, doesn't matter. We'll see how well he does."
"But just so you know, I HAVE been getting a head start in Divination. You better watch out, Imma make you look like a fool."
"Yeah, yeah. You're a Seer and you like Divination. You make fool out of everyone except the Professor. But you can't use your powers against me! I'm your boyfriend and that wouldn't be very nice," Shanks replied, smiling.
Since they were now on the couch, Elise leaned into him as if using his shoulder as a pillow. Of course, this was perfectly okay with Tristian. The closer, the better. He tilted her chin up and lightly pecked her lips with his. "You're so cute," he said simply and turned to the match.
Coby Waverly of the Raptors had possession of the Quaffle and set up the three Chasers in a Hawkshead Formation with him in the lead. Nick Valente and Grace Hawk were on either side of him as they made their way up the pitch forcefully. A Bludger came soaring to Waverly, but he passed the ball off to Hawk and rolled away. Hawk, now in possession of the Quaffle, left and sent the Quaffle soaring through the middle hoop.
"YEAH!" Tristian screamed, waving his Raptors flag in the air. He looked down to Elise, "Yeah, Puddlemere's Keeper was definitely just hiding his talents," he said sarcastically, a grin plastered on his face.
Stephanie Henil, the Raptor's Seeker, was flying around the pitch above the match, eyes darting around in search for the Golden Snitch. The Puddlemere's Seeker, Koryn Rucker, was tailing the famed Seeker in hopes of letting Henil find it and she would catch it. Fat chance.

"Mhmm," Was all she said in reply. Her adrenaline was still rushing, emotions pumping, but now it was all behind the scenes. She wrapped her arms around his neck, watching the grace of the patterns the players weaved. All of them were dancing around each other effortlessly, everything looking planned on both sides. It all seemed coordinated, even as the Quaffle passed by the Keeper and through the hoop.
"Yeah! Elise was startled, and revived from her calm. She laughed at Tristian's enthusiasm, knowing he was acting as much of a kid as she was inside. No matter how many matches he may have seen, and how much he may have been expecting that, it seemed he could still enjoy the win. Or at least, the coming promise of a win.
Ah, the seekers were playing 'I'll just follow you and you do the work'. That never seemed to play out how they wanted to, unless they were more coordinated than lazy. One had to be able to wait for the other to spot it, and then have the speed and mindset to swipe it from their grasp. Yes, it was difficult indeed. Henil had it in the bag now, since she was the more experienced player.
"You're such a Quidditch dork." She said with continuing laughter. "I bet you'd be able to prophecise the win better than any Seer could, I'd bet on it." Elise knew that'd make him only more prideful about it, but that was no matter. She'd admit than even when she was a Seer, Divination felt like a whole lot of guess work.
